About Qinghai University
Qinghai University (QHU), founded in 1958 in Xining, is the flagship university of Qinghai Province — the highest-altitude province in China and home to the Tibetan Plateau, the world's 'Third Pole.' QHU is known for high-altitude medicine, plateau ecology, and agricultural sciences adapted to extreme environments.
