About Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine
Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine (YUCM), founded in 1960 in the Spring City of Kunming, is the primary TCM institution in Yunnan Province — the most botanically diverse region on Earth and the source of more than a third of China's traditional medicinal plant species. YUCM's ethnic minority pharmacy research, which documents and scientifically validates the healing plants used by Yunnan's 25 ethnic groups, is globally irreplaceable.
